  • VIDEO: Vilsack discusses recent progress of dairy exports and concerns about coronavirus

    U.S. dairy exports had gained positive momentum in recent months. But the COVID-19 pandemic has the entire world wondering what comes next. 

    In an interview with RFD-TV, USDEC President and CEO Tom Vilsack recounted the positive momentum and hopeful outlook the U.S. dairy industry had for exports as it began 2020. 

    Unfortunately, anxiety created by the coronavirus pandemic is creating more stress for dairy farmers.

    In the video below, Secretary Vilsack begins by analyzing challenges U.S. dairy farmers faced in 2019 and positive global developments of the first two months of 2020.
