U.S. dairy leaders traveled to Mexico City March 13-17. We created this one-stop resource page about the trip and its significance.
MEXICO CITY -- Leaders of three U.S. dairy organizations traveled to Mexico March 13-17 to send a unified message that the business partnership that has served both countries for many years will not only continue, but flourish.
Tom Vilsack, CEO and president of the U.S. Dairy Export Council, was joined by Jim Mulhern, president of the National Milk Producers Federation, and Michael Dykes, president and CEO of the International Dairy Foods Association.
Mulhern, Vilsack and Dykes give one of many media interviews in Mexico City.

U.S. Dairy Leaders Promise Steadfast Commitment to Mexico
3/15 joint news release: The leaders of three major U.S. dairy organizations promised Wednesday to continue a strong commitment to their time-tested partnership with Mexico's dairy industry and consumers.
- Vilsack Speech in Mexico: Let's Grow Demand Together. 3/15 U.S. Dairy Exporter Blog: Vilsack addressed the National Dairy Forum, an annual gathering of Mexican dairy farmers organized by the Mexican Federation of Milk Producers (Femeleche), which boasts more than 40,000 affiliated farmers from across the country. - U.S. dairy officials head south on Mexico trade rescue mission. 3/15 POLITICO: Tom Vilsack, president and CEO of the U.S. Dairy Export Council, and Jim Mulhern, president and CEO of the National Milk Producers Federation, participated in a joint interview with POLITICO on Friday, just days before they are set to join Michael Dykes, the CEO and president of the International Dairy Foods Association, Jaime Castaneda, NMPF's senior VP for strategic initiatives and trade policy, and Mark O'Keefe, USDEC's VP for editorial services, on a flight to Mexico City.
